ITERATION OF, 2024

The handwritten word "Interpretation," repeatedly drawn through a process of iteration. The combination of pen and paper was tested multiple times, ultimately adopting a final version drawn with water-based ink on tracing paper. Additionally, several draft letters attempted as part of the design process are used as they are in the final design. The text "Iteration of," written in pencil, evokes a sense of youthful and primitive repetition. The photograph was taken by Bangal Dawson.

「解釈（Interpretation）」という手書きの文字が、反復（Iteration）され描かれた本作品。ペンと紙の組み合わせを何度も検証し、最終的に水性インクを用いてトレーシングペーパーに描いたものを採用した。また、デザインプロセスとして試みた複数の下書き文字を、そのままデザインとして使用している。鉛筆で書かれた「Iteration of」の文字が、反復という行為の少年性と原始的な感覚を引き起こす。写真は、Bangal Dawsonによる撮影。
